See, humans cannot let anything just be without putting their mark on it:

I'm not sure what it's meant to depict, but I suspect that it did start out as an enormous phallus and someone else tried to scrub it out by making it into a sort of Christmas tree-ish thing.

It is now about 2 feet high. It's rather pretty.
